Located in Andalucia in Southern Spain, the village of Montejaque is an ideal choice for those who wish to tour this scenic and popular area. Montejaque is situated in the Natural Park of Grazalema with its stunning vistas and cork forests and is located within twenty kilometers of the historic city of Ronda.

The village nestles in the Sierra de Libar mountain range at an altitude of 631 meters and has a population of approximately 1400.

Montejaque is within easy driving distance of towns such as Jerez, Cadiz, Malaga, Algeciras, Tarifa. Gibraltar and the Costa Del Sol with the coastal resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

The village is five kilometers from the nearest railway station which is located at Benaojan. The line connects to Ronda and Algeciras and onwards to Madrid, Malaga, Granada and other major cities in Andalucia.

The main Airports are located at Malaga and Gibraltar with Jerez, Cadiz and Granada also catering for flights from Britain.

All airports provide car hire facilities and taxi services. Journey times to travel to the village are between 1 hour 30 minutes and two hours.

Train services are available from Malaga to Benaojan with a change at Bobadilla and from Gibraltar on the Algeciras to Ronda line.

A taxi service operates between Benaojan and Montejaque and the village has a twice daily bus service to Ronda.

For those wishing to drive from the United Kingdom, ferry services operate to either France or Bilbao and Santander in Spain.
